Fairy Tale
A downloadable game
Through the garden, behind the tree, and across the fields we go. Peeking out of hedgerows, and dancing about mushroom circles are the fairies. Fairies are good fae, protectors of the natural world and more likely to do good than evil, even if they do enjoy a good-natured prank every now and again.
In Fairy Tale, you play as fairies. This tabletop roleplaying game is for 3-6 players and a game master and is inspired by media like the Flower Fairies, Rainbow Fairies, and the Spiderwick Chronicles.
Work together to look after fairy land and the woodlands surrounding it. Help the forest grow, help local children, and use your magic, wits, and work together to scare off any mean fae or encroaching humans.
All you need to play is a four-sided dice (or a dice rolling app!)
Fairy Tale comes with:
- A screen-reader and printer friendly PDF
- A printable PDF character sheet
Fairy Tale is built on Caltrop Core by Titanomachy RPG
It was made for the Caltrop Core Game Jam
Please Note:
This game is still in development. This is version 1, hence why it is PWYW.
In the future I will be improving the layout and inside illustrations, and will be altering the game after more playtesting, and adding additional parts, such as adventure hooks, Fairy lore, more detailed character creation etc.
I would love to hear what you liked about the game and if you altered anything while you were playing.

Hi! This game looks very sweet and fun, but the game page is difficult to read because there isn't enough contrast between the white text & medium-green background. Thought you'd like to know!
Thanks for letting me know, hopefully the darker text works better (let me know if not!)
It does! Thank you!
